Failed Your Smog Test?
We Fix It Here.
Nevada-licensed emissions repair. We diagnose, fix, and retest — and our repairs count toward your DMV waiver.
Check Engine Light On?
Don’t wait — a lit check engine light is the most common reason vehicles fail emissions. We scan the codes, find the cause, and make the repair.
A failed test is required to qualify for a DMV waiver. Don’t skip it.
Why Repair Location Matters
Repairs that count toward your DMV waiver must be done at a licensed Nevada 2G Certified Shop or by the registered owner. Work done at a non-2G shop by anyone other than the owner does not qualify. We’re a 2G Certified Shop.
Meet the minimum repair cost threshold and still not pass? You may qualify for a registration waiver.
What We Repair
Emissions Repairs We Do
“Failed” vs. “Rejected” — What’s the Difference?
Your vehicle was tested and exceeded emissions limits, or the check engine light was on. Repairs and a retest are required before you can renew registration.
Your vehicle wasn’t ready to be tested — the OBD system hasn’t completed self-checks (usually after a battery swap or recent repair). Drive normally for up to one week, then retest.
💡 Loose gas cap? That’s the #1 most common check engine trigger. Check it first — if the light clears, you may not need repairs at all.
